Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 21, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how ArcGate Route VPN (“App,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use our Android application. By using the App, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Service Description

ArcGate Route VPN uses Android’s VpnService to create a device-level VPN tunnel and route supported network traffic through configured VPN endpoints that you select in the App. Before a connection starts, Android may ask you to approve VPN setup through the system consent dialog.

2. Information We Process

Depending on how you use the App and which features you enable, we may process:

We design the App so that VPN traffic is transmitted through the tunnel for the purpose of providing the VPN service. We do not sell your personal information.

3. Permissions We Request and Why

4. Foreground Notification

Android requires an ongoing notification while the VPN service is active. This notification may show connection status and related traffic statistics. You can disconnect the VPN from the App or through system controls, after which the notification will stop.

5. Advertising

The App uses Google AdMob (and related Google advertising services) to display ads and support monetization. Ad partners may collect or receive device identifiers, approximate location, and interaction data to deliver, personalize, or measure ads, subject to your device advertising preferences and applicable law.

For more information about how Google uses data, please review Google’s policies, including the Google Privacy Policy available at Google’s official websites.

6. Analytics and Crash Diagnostics

We use Firebase services, including Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Analytics (where enabled), to understand app stability, diagnose crashes, and improve performance and product quality. These services may process device and diagnostic information as described in Google’s privacy documentation.

7. Consent-Based Activation

Advertising and diagnostic collection features are activated only after you agree to the applicable privacy notice in the App. If you do not agree, those features remain disabled to the extent required by the App’s consent flow and platform rules. Core VPN permissions and system VPN consent may still be required to use the VPN connection itself.

8. How We Use Information

9. Data Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers and partners that help us operate the App, including:

These parties process information under their own terms and privacy policies where applicable.

10. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information in transit and during operation of the App. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Data Retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our policies. Retention periods may vary by data category and operational need. Advertising and analytics partners may retain data according to their own retention practices.

12. International Transfers

Depending on server locations and provider infrastructure, information may be processed or stored in countries other than the one where you live. Those countries may have different data-protection laws. Where required, we take steps designed to ensure appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

13. Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us through the in-App support channel so we can take appropriate action.

14. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal information, and to object to certain processing or withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You may also reset or limit your advertising identifier in your device settings.

To exercise available rights, use the in-App support or contact options provided in the App. We may need to verify your request before responding. Some requests may be limited by law or by technical constraints of third-party platforms.

15. Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and make the updated policy available in the App or through our official website. Continued use of the App after an update means you acknowledge the revised Privacy Policy, except where additional consent is required by law.

16. Contact

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or about how ArcGate Route VPN handles information, please contact us through the in-App support channel or our official website.
